Terms and Conditions

Purpose of Wristy

Wristy is for watch culture, collecting, conversation, documentation, publishing, and community participation. It is not a sales marketplace, auction venue, escrow service, authentication provider, shipping intermediary, or payments platform.

No Selling, Trading, or Brokering

• Do not list watches or other items for sale.
• Do not ask other users to buy, sell, trade, broker, source, consign, authenticate, appraise for transaction purposes, escrow, finance, or ship items.
• Do not post price calls, offers, bid requests, stock lists, dealer menus, payment links, or "DM to buy" style content.
• Do not use profiles, posts, comments, articles, circles, usernames, or messages to move users into off-platform sales activity.

If Wristy later launches an official commerce feature, those future written rules would control that feature. Until then, all commerce activity is prohibited.

Counterfeit, Stolen, and Regulated Goods

• Do not use Wristy to advertise, facilitate, or discuss transactions involving counterfeit, stolen, illegally imported, or otherwise unlawful goods.
• Do not use Wristy for weapons, drugs, controlled substances, fraudulent financial products, or any other regulated or illegal goods or services.

Respectful Conduct

• Do not harass, threaten, stalk, bully, intimidate, extort, or abuse anyone.
• Do not post hateful, discriminatory, or dehumanizing content.
• Do not encourage violence, self-harm, criminal activity, or dangerous conduct.
• Do not sexualize minors or post sexual exploitation material of any kind.

Inappropriate Content

• Do not post explicit sexual content, graphic gore, or shock content that is unrelated to the intended purpose of Wristy.
• Do not upload content intended mainly to spam, provoke, scam, or degrade other users.

Honesty and Authenticity

• Do not impersonate people, brands, dealers, moderators, or Wristy staff.
• Do not forge provenance, ownership, service history, or authenticity claims about watches or other items.
• Do not run scams, fake giveaways, phishing schemes, malware campaigns, or social-engineering attempts.

Privacy and Safety

• Do not dox, expose, or threaten to expose private information.
• Do not publish another person's address, phone number, government ID, payment details, or private communications without permission.
• Do not use Wristy to track, surveil, or target users for theft, fraud, or harassment.

Platform Integrity

• Do not scrape data at scale, automate abusive account creation, or attempt to bypass technical restrictions.
• Do not exploit bugs, probe for vulnerabilities, or interfere with the normal operation of the service.
• Do not use Wristy to manufacture fake engagement, spam mentions, or mass-message users.

Intellectual Property

Only share photos, videos, article content, logos, and other material that you own or are authorized to use.

Wristy may remove allegedly infringing content and may suspend repeat offenders.

Enforcement

Violations can result in content removal, account restrictions, loss of messaging or circle privileges, suspension, permanent removal, reporting to service providers, or referral to law enforcement when appropriate.

Wristy may act on reported or detected violations without first providing a warning.
